The steak shouldn't be split with the salad
An equal split is quick, but it's rarely fair when orders differ. With an itemised split, each line on the bill goes to the people who had it, and a shared bottle can go to everyone who drank it.
Tax, service and tip, in proportion
Enter tax, service charge, tip and any discount once. Hisaab Kitaab shares them in proportion to what each person ordered, so nobody pays tip on someone else's lobster. The amounts are worked out to the cent, and the lines always add up to the bill.
Scan instead of typing
Take a photo of the printed bill and Hisaab Kitaab reads the lines and the charges (English, Urdu and Hindi receipts). Check them, tap who had what, and save. The photo is kept as the receipt.
Someone paid for everyone
Record who paid (or several payers), and everyone else's share goes on their balance. If you eat out often with the same group, it all nets out over time, and Hisaab Kitaab suggests the fewest payments to settle.
Pay them back from your phone
The person who paid can add their PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Revolut, Monzo, Wise or UPI details, and everyone who owes them gets a button that opens the app.
